A pretty standard avoidance/collision detection game; I got a little more intricate with the graphics than you usually see, and made some original music and sound effects to go along with it. Just use your mouse to fly your plane around and try to avoid running into the enemy! Mostly Actionscript 3 running this, with a little AS2 in there. Illustrator for the game sprites, and Photoshop for the beginning and ending screens. The music was made in GarageBand; the "swooshing" sound of the drones was made by taking a jet sound effect in iMovie, and then slowing it down, adding reverb and delay, etc.

This is a "lens effect" Flash piece I built for a Guidant CD-ROM promoting a line of arterial stents. Two 3D images were built, one with "normal view" arteries and one with cutaways, showing the stent. Photoshop was used to paint them in more realistic colors. I then took the images into Flash, created the cursor-locked mask, and made information pop-up blocks at key points.

Links to a few sites I've done recently: a more complex Flash site for a design agency, and a simple business card site with an embedded Quicktime movie.

Links to a couple neat Flash toys: a mouse-over "lens effect" with a map, and a short interactive Holiday card. Watch the snowman in the window each time you make a selection! The Guidant piece is a looping animation from a CD-ROM which also features some 3D modeling; the revolving arterial stent in the lower corner was actually animated in Flash as a key frame animation. The loops and circles of colors is a Flash piece that follows your cursor around inside the window.
